
Wheel thrown Pottery ideas

Tuesday, May 19 – July 7, 6:30-9:30 PM Fee $250 8 Weeks
Learn basic clay handling skills to create functional and sculptural objects. Experiment with colored clays, brushwork and more. Diana leads a fun eclectic adventure in clay.
Class Fee includes:
· Studio instruction time
· Materials, glazes and firings
· Use of all necessary tools and equipment
One make-up session for lost class time is allowed (to be arranged with teachers). A maximum of 10 students.
What to bring: Personal towel or apron, notebook or sketchpad for ideas.

Monday, May 18 – July 6, 6:30-9:30 PM Fee $250 8 Weeks
This informal class is perfect to begin or continue your experience in wheel throwing pottery. Instruction will range from beginning centering through complicated construction of wheel thrown pieces. In addition instruction on professional looking finishes and handling techniques will be included as you progress.
Class Fee includes:
One make-up session for lost class time is allowed (to be arranged with teachers). A maximum of 8 students
What to bring: Ideas, notebook or sketchpad and a personal towel and apron.

Saturday, May 23 – June 27, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Fee $250 6 Weeks
This combination class is designed for the student that can’t decide what direction they want or need to go. Both hand building and wheel throwing instruction will be offered, explore one or both. Combine techniques for a unique approach to an Idea.
One make-up session for lost class time is allowed (to be arranged with teachers). A maximum of 12 students with 8 on the wheel.
Class Refund Policies:
Withdrawal Deadline: 5 days prior to 1st class.
· No refunds will be given after the withdrawal deadline.
· Please do not ask for credit.
· Classes that do not have the minimum number of students may be delayed one week or cancelled at the withdrawal deadline.
